2nd day: San Gimignano & Siena

San Gimignano stands out since distance due to the profile of its 14 towers out of the 72 which marked the importance of this town in the Middle Age: tour of the old centre and browsing among the many craft shops.

Leaving San Gimignano for a nearby farm: selection of local products for a “Farmers’ lunch” on the courtyard with an amazing view on San Gimignano (to be served in the “fireplace room” in case of bad/cold weather). This is one of the few farms in the territory where are bred the “Chianine” cows, famous for being the original “suppliers” of the real Florentine steak...

Leaving for Siena, and walking tour of the town to admire the magnificent Piazza del Campo, the beautiful Cathedral, and the many beautiful palaces which are spread around the town such as the Spedale di S. Maria della Scala, Palazzo Chigi Saracini, and Logge del Papa.

3rd day: Cooking and Tasting

Leaving the Cooking School, will walk in the centre of Siena to visit the magnificent Fortezza Medicea, a fortress built in 1561. In the bastions of the fortress is located the Enoteca Italiana – the sole national recognized institution for selecting the finest Italian wines.A complete visit of the imposing collection of wines from all over Italy and guided wine tasting

4th day: Goodbye, Siena
