La Muccheria is an old farm where, as the original name indicates, cattle were husbanded to produce the milk for the small district of San Carlo. Given its splendid location, in 1986 it was restored and transformed into a home which to this day, and only three kilometres from the beach, enjoys so much peace and quiet, breathtaking sunsets over the sea, a variety of walks or genuine hiking in the vast Mediterranean woodlands which surround it. Its location, 150m above sea level, ensures a peaceful
and refreshing breeze throughout the holiday season and a natural absence of mosquitoes.

The apartments (sleeping 2 or 5) are all composed of a living room with an adjoining corner kitchen, a bedroom, a bathroom and a covered and furnished veranda facing onto the swimming pool or the hills Great care has been taken over the interiors, with every item selected individually giving the impression of a lovingly furnished home, reflecting the warmth and comfort of the typical Tuscany tradition.
